I have a brother who likes to fish for catfish (incidently, I am a bass fisherman by default, and occassionaly find interest to come to this arena). I told him about Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap, he ordered it, and catches good quality catfish he tells me.

HavFaith - Keller Texas

I went out yesterday on Lake Houston, with several friends to water test Cajun Cookers new pontoon boat. Of course we all knew that was just an excuse to get out of the house and go jug fishing.

Each of us had our own collection of different flagging jugs, some homemade and some not.

What got everyone going was when I broke out some of Redneck's catfish Bait Soap. At first I got a few chuckles, catfish and catfish bait soap? cajun Cooker, who is old enough that he is exempt from having to have a fishing license, helped me out and told the crew. "I have caught many a catfish on soap"

Rednecks soap didn't crumble as some of the others do, not near as messy as some baits and bottom line it worked.
I used approx 3/4 of a slab and was able to bait up 70 hooks several times

I bought some of Redneck's flagging juglines. I figured it would save me the time and be easier than building them myself. . They worked great!!! It was nice to be able to see when you got a fish on, and only having to check the lines that had flagged. I also tried his catfish bait soap. It worked well. I only caught fish on the soap and nothing on the ones I baited with shad. No more stink bait for me. Thanks Redneck.

Brad Looney - Watauga Texas

Last time I went drift fishing on Lake Texoma I baited some rods with fresh caught shad and some with long thin slivers of Redneck Catfish Bait soap. The only rods I got hits on were the bait soap rods.

Mike Covington - Sherman Texas

Cats were fair on the juglines last night and today. Seemed a little slower than they had been the last couple of weeks but we caught some good ones. I have been using Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap. It is amazing how those big catfish will hit that little block of bait soap.

I finally caught my first Flat Head. Had to eat this one since I have never tried one. This has to be the best eating kitty there is. Catfish was caught on Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap and a Redneck Fish On Flagging Catfish Jugline. The Redneck Bait Soap is about all I use and have been doing good with it. It is very productive on my juglines. If the bite is on I will be catching fish before i even get them all set out.

I caught this 12lb. blue catfish on Richland Chambers using Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap for the first time. Left from there to catch a box full of sandies with my brother in law and our sons. My nephew caught his first fish that day.

Tried the soap for the first time. Put out ten jugs in '18 feet at Lake Ray Roberts. Got a seven pound channel catfish on the catfish bait soap. I like the ease of use and had no problem with it staying on the hook. Good stuff, Thanks

Keith Bates - Lake Ray Roberts Texas

I took my Nephew out jug fishing this past weekend, on Lake Conroe and used some more of Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap.

I tried your Anise bait soap at Lake Calaveras yesterday in some less than desirable conditions. However it produced 14 channels of good size on 24 jugs. They ranged from 2 to 5lbs. I also fished with cut bait on the bottom hooks of my jugs and caught nothing. the water was really choppy and borderline dangerous. I fished for four hours and ran my jugs twice. no one has had any luck on that lake with soap before. I liked the consistency of it. I litterally had to take it off the hook and never lost a bait. I'll admit that i was a little apprehensive but i'm hooked now. I can't wait to show my ol man , he loves soap and swears by it. (doesn't r/r fish at all) He'll be impressed as i was.

C. Hill - South Texas

I used your catfish bait soap on trotlines Sunday Night at Lake Weatherford in 3 feet of water. We baited 25 hooks with your bait soap, and ran the lines twice. We caught 19 keepers, and threw back a few little ones. The hooks that we did not have fish on we still had bait, I actually had to work to get the bait off of the hooks when we were ready to leave. We have not done this well on trotlines ever, thanks!

M. Taylor - Weatherford Texas - Lake Weatherford

Send me 4 orders of the special deal in the Anise bait. I really like that one! I have a couple of friends I would like to give some of this bait to and have some for myself. I tried it again the other day and caught 24 channels on it in the daytime
and I didn`t even have much left to use when I started baiting the hooks!

Great Bait on jug lines!

Darrell - "Catfishkiller" Guide Service and Bait - Conroe Texas

I want to thank you for answering my questions the other day at the boat ramp (I was the guy in the old Falcon). That was quite a catch you had so I tried the "Redneck's Special Recipe" bait you gave me on a trotline and a few juglines the next day. You were right, the bait was easy to use and did everything you said it would. I caught 22 fish, could not be happier. How can I get some more bait?

Steve - Azle Texas - Eagle Mountain Lake

The wind has been high and did not want to get slamed into the stumps. I had to use the soap for rod and reel bait. I cut them up in small squares and punched a hole through them with a ice pick, then put them in my cooler to firm them up, I used them on a 6 in. leader attached to a treble hook, the leader then was put through the bait and clipped on to a swivel and fished 3 ft. down in 4 ft. of water, under a cork. Anise bait --- Had 16 pieces of bait and cought 11 fish from 2 to 6 lb. each.one was 17 3/4 lbs. All of the fish were blue cats.

Bernie Warhol - Cedar Creek Lake

My ol man and me set out about forty of my custom pvc poles (drop lines) on the San Marcos River and caught 27 channels on the anise soap. Some poles were tapping the water before we could get done setting them out. I really like the anise bar and so did my dad. First time he has ever seen a soap so consistent. The river was low and it made it easy to decide where to put lines out at.

Cliff Hill - New Braunfels Texas

Used your catfish bait this weekend at Keystone Lake in Oklahoma. Fishing was way off but I still caught a few. Caught 5 cats on your soap and lost a fairly big one when it puleed the PVC from my jug just as I was pulling the jug into the boat. Overall, I'd say it works well. Mine was a little soft from being on the boat for awhile but still went onto the hook well and seemed to stay on well. I had 3 jugs that didn't get a bite and the soap was still there after 8 hours.
Thanks for notifying me about this.

Mike - Keystone Lake Oklahoma

On the 17th I fished Belton Lake and I baited a trotline with the Anise Soap and fresh cut shad, baited rod and reels with fresh cut shad and nightcrawlers. Caught 4 channels and a drum on the trotline, cats were on soap and the drum was on shad. The rod & reels only produced 5 channels, 2 drums and 1 turtle. This was the first time I have used this soap and I would have to mark this weekend down as a bad weekend to fish, but I'm impressed the soap. On the trotline they passed the shad to get to the soap! Can't wait to try it out on a good weekend.

Phillip Parrish - Belton Texas

It's good catfish bait or I would not say so, I just wouldn't make a statement if it did not work and tell you. The bait did as well as live perch, cut shad, and crawfish.

Jackie Kennedy - Lancaster Texas - Lake Athens

I tried some of the anise catfish bait soap this past weekend. I was mixing up the bait on the hooks and forgot where I'd put it sometimes, but one night It produced good catch ratios where I knew I'd put it, and the next it would do as good. Put some soap where I was catching fish with shad and the soap produced fish, also. The soap also out produced cut drum. This lake was new to me so I was experimenting with locations and baits at the same time.

Ricky Baker - Palestine Texas

Got to the lake at 1:45am. Had 22 lines out and fishing with nothing but Rednack`s catfish bait soap by 3:00am.
Went to tha middle of tha lake. Baited 4 rods and reels with same. Put them in tha rod holders on my boat.
Went to sleep while drifting in middle of lake. Wife calls and wakes me up at 5:30am to make sure I`m alright. Hang up phone. Get up from floor of boat. Two rods with channel cats on them. One about 1 1/2# and the other about 2 1/2#. Other two rods, bait gone.Getting daylite now. Rode back to where I put the first jugs out. Pull up first jug. Two catfish. Pull 14 more jugs. 1 fish on each jug. Ride around all over the stupid lake and never do find other 7 jugs! I hooked at least 25 catfish last night!

I used some of Redneck's Catfish Bait soap this weekend while jug fishing with similar results. A few 6 lbs or so, but I'm pretty sure a few got off because of my jugs. 3 of mine went missing also but I found them over in a cove. I pulled one jug up and it felt like it had a dink on it about 3 feet below the water I saw a pretty big one get off... very strange. They love that catfish bait soap for sure got several doubles. My catfish bait soap stayed on all night, at least a few that didn't have fish on them.

Jerel - Garland Texas

Put out 10 jugs Friday all baited with Rednecks catfish bait soap. Caught 13 blues in two hrs. This stuff works folks. You have a good bait here Redneck.

Jimmy Whitsel - Farmersville Texas

My fishing partner and I decided to try jug lining at Lake Lewisville for catfish. After getting all the how-to information off of Whiskerkitty.com, we made three jug lines and went to set them out. On the way to the ramp my partner asks me what we are going to bait them with. I showed him the anise soap bait and after he stopped laughing he bet me a case of beer that it would not catch a thing. Being a non-believer, he picked up some shad and decided we would bait the top hook with shad and the bottom with soap. The lines were in the water only 90 minutes due to incoming weather when we decided to pick them up. Top hooks had one small blue cat less than 2 pounds. Bottom hooks had one blue at 4-1/2 pounds and one fine 14 pound cat. Being in late June 2003, it was hot and that beer sure tasted good.

S. Roberts - The Colony, Texas

I finally got around to using some of Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap this weekend. We started drift fishing using fresh shad, chicken liver, shrimp and worms. While drifting I set out 11 jug lines baited with shad and Redneck's soap. We fished 3 hours Sunday morning and had 16 nice channels and blues all on jugs and all on Redneck's Catfish Bait. Fish were nice eating size 2 to 3 pounds. Had so much activity on the jugs we quit drifting and just set "amoung" the jugs and enjoyed the morning.

Byodoc - Chandler Texas

Set 11 jugs caught nine fish. I have enclosed a picture. Not sure what the big one weighed, but he was a 2 hander. ( so were a couple of the others) Small fish were 1.5 to 2 LB fish.
Gary - byodoc - Chandler Texas

I have used Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap in rivers extensivly. it works great and is easy, dont hesitate to use the soap the only thing i use on rivers is soap for channels and blues and perch for those flats.

Seth - Austin Texas

Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap works better in lakes than any i've ever used.
TOP SECRET!!! Dont tell anybody this secret.

Johney Enloe - Henderson Texas

I set a 45 hook trotline at Lake Conroe. On the original set I didn't have any cut bait I was planning to use so I settled for my #1 backup bait, Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap. The original intent was to rebait that night with cut shad/perch, my choice wintertime bait, but the wind got up and I was unable to run the lines until the following day. I ran the lines and took off 22 channels and 2 nice blues, and rebaited with cut shad which produced 16 fish. I next baited with live perch and took off 18 fish. On this trip the Rednecks Soap out did my normal winter time bait. not to mention that most of the hooks that didnt have fish on them we had to pull the soap off. stayed on really well

Jackie Kennedy - Texas

I Just placed another catfish bait soap order from you. I used your catfish bait soap last month in a creek near Stillwater Oklahoma and wore the catfish out on limb lines. I have got a vacation scheduled for July 9th and I hope to receive my catfish bait soap by then or I'll have a lot of explaining to do to my catfishing partner.

Keith Bates - Stillwater Oklahoma

I set out bank lines Saturday on the Guadalupe River and tore the catfish up between 4pm and 12 midnight. Limited out on blue's and channels with three yellow catfish. Then woke up around 5am and caught 37 more before calling it a day at 9am that morning. Great days on the guadalupe river. I caught my biggest blue cat ever around 26 lbs and had three yellas going over 15 lbs with one over 20 lbs. Lots of catfish. All caught on redneck's catfish bait soap and cut perch on r/r or pvc pole bank lines. On 7/14 in the same area we fished from 1;30 to 4;00 and ended up with 14 channels and blues.

Cliff Hill - New Braunfels Texas - Guadalupe River

I set out juglines baited with Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap at night and picked them up the next morning one had a little blue catfish about 4-5 pounds. picked up a couple more, nothing on them. Next jugline was nowhere to be seen. I look about 50 yards upwind and see one of my redneck juglines standing on end. So I start to approach it and bam...its under water, don't see it anywhere. I put these juglines in about 13' of water with about 16-17 foot of line. hooks are spaced 2.5 and 5 froot from bottom with about 2 lb of steel on the bottom. a couple of minutes later I see it surface again several yards off. this time I kick it in high gear and am able to snag the line with my jugline pole before it slips under the water. 20 minutes later I land a 35 pound flathead catfish.

Tony Swafford - Wichita Falls Texas

I went to Lake Fork after receiving your catfish bait soap and chummed an area with hen scratch and fished with the catfish bait soap on rod and reel. I caught 23 catfish in about 2 hours all in the same spot. They were all channel catfish that weighed between 2 and 4 lbs and all on your catfish bait soap. The catfish bait soap is MIGHTY FINE.

Curtis Ballard- Longview Texas

I set out about 6 jugs yesterday (12 hooks total) baited with Redneck's Catfish bait soap on Canyon Lake in South Texas and ran my juglines and picked them up this morning. I had five blue catfish that weighed from 2.5 to 8 lbs all caught on Jug Lines with Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap.

Jimbo - San Antonio Texas

I fished the Guadalupe river yesterday for catfish. I set out fifteen banklines with Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap. I ended up with eight catfish weighing up to 12 pounds, not too bad considering I did not leave them out long and 12 out of 15 lines has fish on them. I was really just trying to learn this area of the Guadalupe river. Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap was the key. Tjis catfish bait kicks some serious tail on the river catfish in Texas. I really like the product and just don't see a reasno to fish with anything else in the river, this is the best catfish bait.
