1. Remove the catfish bait soap from the package and lay it out on a hard flat surface for cutting. Hang on to the resealable plastic bag so you have a place to store any unused bait. 2. Cut the catfish bait into chunks. The size chunk of catfish bait soap that you use is entirely up to you. We recomend using a chunk about 3/4" x 3/4" but you can use a smaller or larger piece than that. The bait is very easy to cut and does not require even a sharp knife. The bait can be cut with any kind of knife, or you can even use a piece of fishing line strung between two sticks (or pencils) and push down on the bait while holding the line taught between the sticks. 3. Once you have the bait cut into chunks, your ready to go fishing! * Always store Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap in a sealed container. It needs to retain it's moisture so it will not dry out. **The catfish bait is best stored in a cool dry place at room temperature. We do not recomend storing it in the refrigerator. ***If exposed to extreme heat (i.e. laying out in the Texas sun in July at noon) the catfish bait will get soft. If this happens, simply tale the bait and put it in a cool dry place where it can set back up again. It will be fine.
