The Catfish Boat is a catfish guide on Lake Conroe
Recently, my nephew had come to live with me out here in the
country. Phillip hasn't had the oppurtunity to go fishing much in the past,
So I took him out jug fishing last night on Lake Conroe, for his first time.
We got our fishing jugs baited and set out just after dark, and
stayed all night, I could tell this young man was getting sleepy, and when
I asked if he wanted to take a nap, he said. "I couldn't sleep, I am
to excited". His grin from ear to ear sais it all !!!!!
This was his first big Blue Catfish, 15.10#s
Around 2am, we kept seeing one fishing jug going under, then
coming back up, each time he tried to hook it, it kept pulling away.
We finally got the fishing jug, and got these two blue catfish in the boat
on the same jugline.
Phillip gave me a lesson in new age terminoligy, In his words,"This
is Tight !!!! which translates to "This is cool or awsome"
This 15.3#er and 9.7#er were caught on the same runaway jugline.
NOTE THE REDNECKS CATFISH SOAP BAIT LAYING IN THE FLOOR OF THE
BOAT BY THE SEAT!
Not only did he get the chance to catch some big catfish, He
also was introduced to CPR,
He wanted to take a closer look at this 15#er before he had to release it.
